Why? Because you are. Anyone that has enough gumption to step into a therapist’s office and be open to the process is already emerging as the hero or heroine in their own life. It takes a daring spirit to explore the habits, behaviors or ideas that are holding you back. I feel honored to be your compass, helping to guide you on your journey.

My approach is integrative.
Through 20 years of practice I’ve worked with a wide spectrum of clients in dynamic private practice settings. My preferred style is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I also utilize a range of eclectic modalities, such as somatic therapy and stress management. Because each person is a complex universe unto themselves, my approach is holistic; I look at and treat the whole person, not just the issues or symptoms they’re dealing with.

Kindness, humor and compassion are key.
While therapy can be one of the most empowering experiences of a person’s life, it can also be frightening. We work together in a contained environment to deal with your concerns in a safe yet proactive manner. During this time we’ll gain developmental and biographical insight whilst developing the necessary skills and tools to help you transform the difficulties you are confronting. The intention behind the therapeutic process is to emerge with a greater understanding of the self; feeling healed, empowered, and ready to move forward.
